New career services professional onboarding

Career services professionals across campus have created a modular onboarding training for new career services professionals. This will allow for new career services staff members to be scheduled into 11 meetings with their new colleagues around campus to learn about the minimum expectations for career services professionals within seven functional areas, as recently developed by the career services directors:

1. Advising, Counseling, and Education
2. Preparing and Disseminating Information on Careers and Further Education
3. Promoting and Facilitating Experiential Education for Career Exploration
4. Providing Job Search Services
5. Academic Planning
6. Furthering Employer Relations
7. Consulting with Advisors, Faculty, and Administrators

Once a new career services professional begins their role, either the new professional or the director should complete the form below to schedule the modular trainings. After this form has been submitted, the new professional will be scheduled with their new colleagues around campus to begin their trainings.
